Project team took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference
On October 10–11, the Cred4Teach project team took part in the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Higher Education: Achievements, Challenges and Prospects for Development in Conditions of Uncertainty”, held at Bohdan Khmelnytsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University.
The participants presented a report titled “Massive open online courses as a for developing professional and digital competences” The presentation highlighted the results of the development and implementation of the micro-credential program “Technology-enhanced learning in the classroom ”, created within the framework of the CRED4TEACH project.
During the presentation, the team provided a detailed overview of the program, which consists of three MOOCs aimed at developing teachers’ professional and digital competences. Each course focuses on mastering modern educational technologies, methods for organizing interactive lessons, and utilizing digital tools to create educational content.
Special attention was given to the advantages of MOOCs as a modern tool for continuous professional development. Among the key principles emphasized were open access to education, self-directed learning, and flexible access to content.
The program provides 4 ECTS credits and offers participants the opportunity to choose their own trajectory of professional growth.
The presentation attracted considerable interest among conference participants, as issues of digital transformation in education, flexible learning, and the development of micro-credentials are currently among the key directions for the modernization of professional education.
